Commercial sheet vinyl is the standard specification where a floor has to take constant traffic and hard cleaning. We supply and install it bonded to a prepared substrate and hot-air welded at every seam, giving a continuous, impervious surface.

Frequently asked questions

Hot-air welded with a matching rod, which fuses the sheets into one continuous surface. Where the floor has to be impervious at its edges it is coved up the wall and finished with a capping seal.

BS 8203 sets the threshold for bonding at 75 per cent relative humidity. Above that, a surface damp proof membrane is the usual remedy, so we test before anything is laid.
