Safety flooring carries aggregate through its wear layer, so its slip resistance lasts for the life of the floor rather than wearing away. We supply and install it as a welded, coved system for areas where spills and water are routine.

Where it is used

Commercial kitchens, wet rooms, changing areas, entrances and clinical spaces.

What we deliver

  • Advice on which areas genuinely need a safety grade
  • Substrate preparation and moisture testing
  • Supply and installation, welded throughout
  • Coving, capping seal and transitions to adjoining floors

Frequently asked questions

No. Both are sheet vinyl, but safety flooring carries aggregate through its wear layer to keep its slip resistance. That also makes it harder to clean, so the two are specified for different areas.

Wherever the floor has to be impervious at its edges, which covers most of the areas it goes into. The sheet is coved up the wall and finished with a capping seal.
